This purpose of this blog is to function as a platform for sharing my thoughts and ideas on issues that trigger my attention in my academic (research/teaching) and advisory/consultancy work. I have always been fascinated by the “intersections” between different areas of law and between different disciplines. This is why instead of using an umbrella term to demarcate the scope of the blog I chose to employ some descriptors that refer to these intersecting areas: public law, European Union law, public procurement, innovation, AI, sustainability, human rights and trade. Reflecting the approach that characterises my professional endeavours the blog will focus on connecting the dots, building bridges between these intersecting areas and hopefully generate fruitful debate.
